The morning trip in the balloon was the archaeology, was the Nile river, it was the farmers, the fields, the mountains, all of the sights around here in one short trip.
The tombs so far we went in four of them, we went in Ramses, it was gorgeous, just the colours, how well preserved they are and actually the Egyptians help us, they weren’t pushy it was so nice.
It was wonderful, Dr. Zahi Hawass is so entertaining and he so knowledgeable and he knows everything right from the top of his head it was one of the highlights of this trip.
Not knowing how incredible a trip that is to be, I mean having an opportunity to meet Dr Hawass, meeting former first lady Sadat.
I loved seeing the great pyramids on the Giza plateau that was really exciting, obviously the other thing so beautiful is to go inside the tombs particularly Seti and then Ramses and Nefretiti.
One of the best highlights had to be sitting at the Mena House having a glass of wine and looking at the great pyramids and realising I'm actually here.
It is a wonderful country. It’s relaxed and the people have been wonderful, kind, incredible. I feel like I know inch Egypt more than I ever could have dreamed of.
I love Egyptian people, they are warm, they are kind, the children are absolutely beautiful here. They just open their arms and hearts to us.
I was thrilled to meet Dr Zahi Hawass, I mean it’s like meeting a celebrity you have seen on TV and my husband read many books on Egypt, carried a very heavy book with him and had Dr Hawass signed it.
Every day is almost a highlight. For me it is Dr Hawass standing between the paws of the Sphinx.
It is beyond what I expected. We have had some spots that I even did not know we were go to. The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. It’s beyond what I expected … way beyond what I expected.
I think it's the best ever. If you don’t go Archaeological Paths, you are really gonna miss a lot. It’s just A1 from top to bottom.
This is something I can do and see all the wonders of Egypt with Dr. Hawass. There is nothing I have seen or read that actually compares to what it really is.
Valley of the kings, it is such a unique place there are so many tombs you can visit and they all are, most of them are in such incredible shapes you can see the colours, the paints, the hieroglyphics and the tombs, some of them are giant.
The Karnak Temple was an amazing facility I had no idea, we had an honour of meeting with Dr. Mostafa Waziri there, he showed us some things that I think are just available for Archaeological Paths clients. I would have to say, in my case, that have made the whole trip worthwhile just to get to see those things.
Overwhelming…as one word comes into my mind. I watch Dr. Hawass on TV specials, read some of his articles, he is the one of the most noticed archaeologist, for one thing the opportunity to hear his lectures and actually meeting him personally is something you can’t put price on.
