Egyptian Paleontologists from Wadi el-Gadid University have discovered footprints and remains of dinosaur species in the Eastern Desert. The fossils date to 70 million years ago and include 16 different dinosaur footprints.
Paleontologist Mohamed Abdel-Gawad noted that these footprints will shed light into the different types of species and activities that occurred in the Egyptian Eastern Desert.
The discovery is a reminder that various lifeforms and activities have been ongoing in Egypt for millions of years.
