Archaeological Paths

First tourists of Archaeological Paths are back to the Land of the Pharaohs

November 06, 2020

The first tourists of Archaeological Paths are back to the Land of the Pharaohs. Our guests, participating in the Royal Egypt Tour, have already visited several sites in the Cairo area. In Saqqara, they admired the oldest pyramid in the world – the Step Pyramid of Djoser, visited the Tomb of Mereruka and the Imhotep Museum.

The next day’s highlight was a visit to the Pyramid Builders Tombs. Even though it is an active excavation site and therefore is off-limits to all tourists, our guests not only explored it in private but also met the world’s most famous archaeologist there – Dr. Zahi Hawass who after a lecture guided them through this site regarded as one of his biggest discoveries.

The other places visited by our guests in the Cairo area were Dashour with its famous Red and Bent pyramids, and Memphis – one of the capitals of ancient Egypt.

Join Archaeological Paths and Dr. Zahi Hawass to discover the secrets of the Land of the Pharaohs. Take advantage of the reduced number of travelers in the group – 27 maximum! Join the Royal Egypt Tours now!
