Archaeological Paths

Royal Egypt Tours have resumed

November 04, 2020

Archaeological Paths is proud to announce that its famed Royal Egypt Tours have resumed. Today, a group of our guests have met the legendary archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass at the monumental Great Sphinx of Giza. It is the very first group of travelers since the spring outbreak of Covid-19. Dr. Hawass touched on the Pyramid Builder’s Tombs, active archaeological site, explained the mysteries of the Sphinx and spoke about the Great Pyramid of Giza which our guests had visited just before the lecture. After answering many questions, Dr. Hawass expressed his satisfaction that tourists from different countries returned to Egypt.

The meeting was attended by the Director-General of Giza Plateau – Ashraf Mohi El-Din, Head of Central Tourism Administration and Antiquities Police – gen. Youssef Mokhtar, and Head of Tourism Police in Giza – gen. Essam Jalal.

Tomorrow, our guests are flying to Luxor to begin their 8-day Nile cruise adventure.

The safe resumption of inbound tourism with strict comprehensive hygiene safety measures resulted in Egypt receiving Safe Travel Stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council. Archaeological Paths has also been recognized by WTTC for implementing enhanced health and safety procedures during its tours.

So, travel with us to Egypt again and join the Royal Egypt Tours, now! Take the advantage of the reduced number of travelers in the group – 27 maximum! Join us, and Dr. Zahi Hawass and discover the secrets of the Land of the Pharaohs.
